At first Tshirt Dude thought that this was quite a good idea, but as the Keep Calm and Carry On Tee is like the coolest tshirt ever (and the one which seems to attract “where did you get that tshirt”) the above parody just doesn’t really work.

Doing slightly better in terms of “they’ve got a better slogan” is Chargrilled’s “Get Angry and Run Away”.

Tshirt Dude prefers Chargrilled’s effort over Shot Dead in the Head. It looks better and the slogan reads better too (and there are no clams involved). At £15 each the tshirts are ok if you fancy something different but save an extra few pounds and get the real thing from Yes No Maybe.

Our only advice would be is don’t get a black tshirt with gold lettering as it doesn’t last! After a few washes the lettering loses it’s sheen! Stick with the red and white version.

As you can see above the graffiti style is evident, and this gives a unique design to the tshirt. The Zoo York Optical Crest Tshirt (in mint on the right) combines the ZY logo with a skyline scene whilst the Paisly filled logo dominates the white tshirt on the left.

We love the look of these shirts although we think they’re probably aimed at the skate, bmx and surf dude markets rather than the slightly older tshirt dude!

Prices of Zoo York tees at Extremepie are around £20, although on sale you may be able to get ones at £15. This is fairly reasonable at seems to be a standard RRP across other retailers such as Urban Surfer and JD Sports.

The logo has been distressed (a posh way of saying made too look worn), but apparently that’s the trendy thing to do, especially with old logos and images.

They cost £24.95 each, made from 100% cotton and are available in Large and Medium sizes. The same tshirt is also available from Truffle Shuffle. Play.com have a number of tees that sport the Atari logo, for example Arcade Life that whilst a lot cheaper just don’t look as good as the official logo shirts above.

The love/hate tshirts for some reason use the french translations – so instead of I Love Marmite they say J’adore Marmite and conversely for I Hate Marmite you get Je Deteste Marmite. These come in black, yellow and red.

They’re not that exciting and whilst the French gives it a bit of sexiness a much bolder statement of I Love Marmite might be more appropriate… do the French even eat the stuff?

The best of the bunch is the Squeeze Me logo tshirts (not shown). These are in Ladies and Mens sizes, white, and cost £14.99.

These are great tshirts if you really love Marmite or you fancy a saucy message on your tshirt… we’re not so sure that people who don’t like the yeast extract taste will want to be wearing a tshirt promoting Marmite though, but you never know!
