The Keep Calm and Carry On on Tshirt, made famous by Top Gear’s James May, and also the inspiration behind Tshirt Dude has now reached a new iconic status as it now has it’s own parody. The guys over at Shot Dead in the Head have come up with “Don’t Picnic & Eat Clams”.

At first Tshirt Dude thought that this was quite a good idea, but as the Keep Calm and Carry On Tee is like the coolest tshirt ever (and the one which seems to attract “where did you get that tshirt”) the above parody just doesn’t really work.

Doing slightly better in terms of “they’ve got a better slogan” is Chargrilled’s “Get Angry and Run Away”.

Tshirt Dude prefers Chargrilled’s effort over Shot Dead in the Head. It looks better and the slogan reads better too (and there are no clams involved). At £15 each the tshirts are ok if you fancy something different but save an extra few pounds and get the real thing from Yes No Maybe.

Our only advice would be is don’t get a black tshirt with gold lettering as it doesn’t last! After a few washes the lettering loses it’s sheen! Stick with the red and white version.
