Movember Tshirts at Burton – Support Prostate Cancer Charity
Leave the first response October 28, 2009 / Posted in NewsNovember is almost upon us and that means it’s time for Movember, a month long celebration of the “MO”ustache which involves raising money and awareness for Prostate Cancer Charities. The illness has been in the news just recently with the announcement that Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber has been diagnosed with prostrate cancer. According to an article in The Daily Mail around 35,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer in the UK every year and more than 10,000 a year die from the disease.
Raising money therefore is important and you can do your bit by growing a ‘tache and getting sponsorship. If that’s not for you then why not buy a tshirt? Burton has a range of special edition Movember tshirts and £1/€1 from every item of clothing will be donated directly to the Prostate Cancer Charity in the UK or Action Prostate Cancer in Ireland.
There are a number of designs, all featuring moustaches, and they’re priced at just £15. There’s also Movember socks, boxer shorts and shirt.
